Toxins in our society

We never stop to think about what is in the products we purchase from the store to use within our homes. There is an incredible amount of poisonous toxins within products we use to clean our homes and use upon and in our bodies. Trying to understand how the government can let companies create products that are harmful to people is difficult to fathom. But in reality companies do not need to get the ok to create their products. When researching what is in our toothpaste and detergents I realized that those products were not what I wanted to have my family and friends using. There are better options out there. Deciding to "Go Green" with my own environment has made a change for the better for my family and those that visit our home. Understanding what it takes to clean out the toxins from our environment and our bodies has helped to make our lives more enriching and will hopefully prolong our lives.
